Borrowby Mill
The mill at Borrowby was built in the 16th century and at one time was Rymers flour mill.

Borrowby is ideally located 4 miles from the historic market town of Thirsk which of course is the home of James Herriot, famous for the All creatures great and small books. A small rural hamlet just off the A19, with easy access for the North and the South.

Yorkshire is a patchwork of pretty villages and rolling hills with the Yorkshire moors to the east and the drama of the Yorkshire Dales to the west.

Well placed for fine racing around as we boast not one but 5 racecoures close by, Thirsk, Ripon, Catterick, Redcar and Wetherby.
Thirsk Racecourse is just 6 miles by road from Borrowby Mill and is an attractive country course with extensive views.
